This research aims to develop and practically validate an integrated photovoltaic (PV) system with battery storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging, combined with smart energy management, to optimize energy use and minimize fossil fuel reliance.
When combined with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and grid loads, photovoltaic (PV) systems offer an efficient way of optimizing energy use, lowering electricity expenses, and improving grid resilience.
Table 1. Technical specifications of a grid-connected PV system with battery storage and EV integration. The total energy consumption of the system is 1000 kWh, with a peak of 0.4 kW. The system includes 24 monocrystalline silicon PV modules, each rated at 0.4 kWp, giving a total power output of 9.6 kWp.
