Battery fires in energy storage systems can cause severe infrastructure damage, toxic gas emissions, and rapid fire spread, making early detection and suppression critical.
Fire accidents in battery energy storage stations have also gradually increased, and the safety of energy storage has received more and more attention. This paper reviews the research progress on fire behavior and fire prevention strategies of LFP batteries for energy storage at the battery, pack and container levels.
