Does high voltage equipment need a declaration of conformity?

According to the requirements of the draft regulation (Article 40, Article VIII), high voltage equipment will be subject to a mandatory declaration of conformity before being put into circulation. The declaration of conformity of high voltage equipment will be registered according to one of the schemes: 3d, 4d, 5d or 6d.

What are the requirements for a remote-end HVDC converter station?

A remote-end HVDC converter station shall fulfil the following requirements referring to voltage stability, at the connection points with regard to reactive power capability: the relevant system operator, in coordination with the relevant TSO shall specify the reactive power provision capability requirements for various voltage levels.

What is the minimum voltage range of a HVDC system?

Voltage ranges referred to in Article 18 Table 4: Minimum time periods an HVDC system shall be capable of operating for voltages deviating from the reference 1 pu value at the connection points without disconnecting from the network. This table applies in case of pu voltage base values at or above 110 kV and up to (not including) 300 kV.
